🧬 NovaNAD+ Subcutaneous Injection Instructions
Please follow these steps carefully to ensure safe and effective use of your NovaNAD+ kit.
🧼Clean Your Hands: Wash or sanitise your hands thoroughly before handling your NovaNAD+ kit.
📦Unpack Your Kit: Ensure your kit includes:
- Pre-filled NAD+ vial
- Syringes
- Alcohol swabs
- Sharps disposal container
🌡️Adjust Temperature: Let the NAD+ vial sit at room temperature for a few minutes before use to reduce discomfort.
🧴Sterilise the Vial: Clean the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and allow it to air dry.
💉Prepare the Syringe:
- Remove the protective cap.
- Insert the needle into the vial.
- Invert and draw 0.35ml of solution.
- Tap the syringe to remove any air bubbles.
📍Choose an Injection Site: Use the lower abdomen or upper thigh. Rotate sites with each injection.
🧽Sanitise the Skin: Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab.
➡️Administer the Injection:
- Pinch the skin gently.
- Insert the needle at a 45° angle.
- Press the plunger slowly to inject.
🗑️Dispose Safely: Place used syringes in your sharps bin immediately.
❄️Store Properly: Keep your vial refrigerated (not frozen) and store the kit away from children and pets.
